Insane, right?
I actually took a day off
Last week I mentioned the importance of taking a step back if things in your business aren’t going well.
For myself, I mentioned that I needed to try and take one day off each week where I do nothing related to my business.
And guess what?
I actually did it.
But it was weird.
When you’re used to always thinking about what needs to get done, and working on various elements of it, it’s so odd to turn that off and step away.
But! I will tell you, it was also very nice to be able to do so.
My question for you though: When was the last time you took a day off?
Where you didn’t have to worry or work on what you likely do every other day of the week.
If you don’t have a “scheduled” day off, then I suggest you start implementing one into your day ASAP!
For myself this looked like: Not going on my laptop or desktop and keeping off my business socials.
It’s now up to you to figure out and decide what you need to exclude on your day off so that you’re actually getting the break you need.
Not much about it will feel comfortable or normal, but you will be thanking yourself in the long run.

PS. I also started playing the piano and songwriting again. Here’s a clip of a song I created if you wanted to hear it. You can also add me there on LinkedIn…if it will let you.
