Should I Quit

My Business?

One of my least favorite places to be in life is this.

Not knowing the path I should take and go down when it comes to my career.

In college I started in business management, but soon switched to hospitality management.

Against the advice of many.

Out of college, I didn’t work in hospitality—but I worked instead for a startup.

Also, against the advice of many.

I eventually left the startup to go on and create this business.

Once again, against the advice of many.

It seems every path I’ve taken is one that is against what society, culture, and people advise.

To be honest though, that’s a reality for every small business owner and entrepreneur out there.

However, as I’ve now been without a “job” since fall of 2023 and have yet to make money with Fisher Philbrick, I’ve come to a challenging decision:

Should I Quit My Business?

It’s a common thought that all business owners have, but what happens when you literally need to start making money?

To survive, to get married, support a family, find a place to live…

Well.

You’ll hear all about it in this week’s episode where I give a full recap of all that’s gone on in the last few months.

As well as where things are heading—both for the business and my own personal life.

I hope you take the chance to give the episode a listen, as well as follow · subscribe · rate the podcast while you’re at it.

PS. This is seemingly ending on a gloomy note, but there’s more to the story than I’ve shared. That I hope to encourage you with. It’s just in the episode though, so go and give listen.
