In 2021 I started Fisher Philbrick and the goal was always to head towards business mentoring and consulting.
This fit within FP’s mission of helping others start, build, and promote their own businesses…but how does one get to having clients to consult?
On top of creating resources and content over the years to lead toward this, I’ve tried many different tactics and advice of others.
Little to nothing has worked or led anywhere.
However, a few months ago my friend Roman from Germany reached out letting me know he was looking to start a business in the US and asked for my help to get things started.
Fast forward to December, and he has successfully set up a legal business in California and is in the process to get here.
It’s been amazing to see the content I’ve created was actually helpful and exactly what he needed to get things started.
I’ve known it would be helpful for others, but after so much trying and failing to get traction, it’s easy to feel like the years have been a total waste.
So, please keep that in mind with the different projects and businesses you’re working on yourself.
It might take years to start to see the fruit of your labor.
Keep up your hard work, dedication, and passion for what you’re building!
If you’d like to hear more about this, as well as my first singles event I’ve ever gone to…then you should definitely watch this recent episode:
Because I’m keeping the episodes on the shorter side, I do mostly talk about the singles event…
However, it gives a great and interesting inside look at someone who is working hard in business not just for the sake of making money, but in order to get married and build a big family.
I also am in contact with Roman to get him on the podcast! So that is something to look forward to.
Not just hearing me talk about him and his business, but having him share with you his vision and mission behind his business.
With all this in mind, I wish you a very Merry Christmas and if you’re wondering why we celebrate Christmas or the true meaning behind it, I encourage you to check out this site in getting started.
Talk soon!
Michael
