Gratitude

not just in this week, but daily.

It’s easy to remember to be thankful and practice gratitude during the week of Thanksgiving.

But, how about all the other days of the year?

Google Search’s AI Overview will give you tons of great points about how your life will benefit from practicing gratitude.

From my own experience, I would say that it is spot on.

It is extremely impactful to take time each day to be grateful for what we have and have been given.

Despite whether our current circumstances are favorable or unfavorable.

Whether we are in calm waters, or stormy waters.

And the crazy part about it all?

The less you have in life, the more grateful you tend to be.

Some of us may think that if only I have “a job” or “a successful business” or “a spouse” or “ a house of my own” I could then be more grateful.

But honestly, if you can’t be grateful for the little you have, then you’re not likely to be grateful when you are blessed with abundance.

It’s something I’ve been aware of and working on in the last few years, and especially in these past few months.

Seeing peers around me moving forward in all of the above items I’ve mentioned and seeing that I’m still far from most of these.

It’s easy to feel discouraged and ungrateful.

However, that’s only one way to look at it, and not a helpful one at that.

Instead, when I realize all God has given me, it immediately starts to turn everything around.

Because I actually have been blessed and given so much.

From my health, to an amazing place to live, to loving and supportive family and friends, to so much more.

So I hope that you can spend time not only this week being grateful, but that you can find time every day to do so.

And if you need some help in this area?

In our upcoming ConnectCall app, I’ve specifically built in a section called Gratitude.

If you struggle to intentionally take time each day to be grateful, then this feature will be a great help to you!

You’re able to daily go in and write out what you’re grateful for, and then you’re also encouraged to share gratitude with those in your phone book.

Here’s a quick preview at how this looks:

My hope is that as users get used to practicing gratitude on a daily basis, it’ll become easier and easier to do so.

And that they will not only be encouraged themselves by doing this, but that they can encourage and connect with their family and friends as well.

Ultimately leading them to do the same.

Sometimes a simple text or phone call from someone close, letting you know they care about you, is enough to turn the whole day around.

I should be on track for soft launching the app later this week, and those who are on the waitlist will get to try it out first.

Followed by a more public launch of the app next week—which I’ll announce also announce via email to you all.

I hope you have wonderful Thanksgiving Day as well as week, and that you’re able to take time each and every day to be grateful for all God has given you.

Talk soon and after Thanksgiving!

Michael
